Pulmonologists are concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases that can affect the structure of the respiratory system, including the larynx, trachea, bronchi, lungs, diaphragm and rib cage.
The specialist treats the diagnosed pathologies to prevent respiratory failure or at least slow down the progression of the disease. It treats diseases such as

Managing the treatment of respiratory diseases, including prescribing medicines but also providing palliative care and monitoring the progress of the disease, are among the main tasks of our pulmonologists. They perform various examinations and tests, such as pulmonary function tests, computed tomography (CT) scans, lung biopsies and blood tests, to diagnose and evaluate respiratory diseases. Pulmonologists also deal with the management and treatment of chronic conditions such as respiratory disease, COPD, asthma, dementia, dementia, lung fibrosis, etc. Finally, they provide consultation on issues related to respiratory health and prevention of lung diseases.
